Maybe Mohsan is just being -interestingly- obfuscative about what his real= IP is, but if his 3640 _really_ does have a 169.254.1.1 address on it (and= he didn't make that up to protect the innocent in his post)=20 then it's highly likely that the problem is routing- Since he mentions his presumably actual community string (not a secure= thing to tell us all what _that_ is..), perhaps the 169.254.1.1 really is= the IP? Mohsan- Assuming that the 169.254.1.1 address is what's really on your= router, can you ping that? As I'm sure you know, the 169.254 subnet is reserved and not routable...
