Hi, I've been running MRTG + RRDTOOL under Windows for some time now without any problems. I recently had to move the installation to another box, so I used the latest versions of all the programs involved. I copied all of the config files from one server to the other and now I see that the RRDs are not being updated. Using the -logging option in MRTG I get the following error:
Can't find string terminator ")" anywhere before EOF at (eval 14) line 1 The software used is: Old server: MRTG 2.11.1 RRDTOOL 1.0.49 ActivePerl 5.8.6.811 Windows 2000 SP4 New server: MRTG 2.14.4 RRDTOOL 1.2.10 Active Perl 5.8.8.817 Windows 2000 SP4 Any ideas? I found that only a very few people had this issue and couldn't find any solution to it.
