I poll 1600 targets from a Dual core Xeon 2.4Ghz box with 2GB of RAM and
RAID 10 SAS drives running Windows Server 2003 R2 SP2 Std. I have five
master configs that fire in succession every minute (each configs
contains ~320 targets). I echo Steve Shipway's comment that disk IO is
the first bottleneck in my experience.
I was requested to install MRTG for monitoring purpose. I am a newbie to
this.
Can you advice what are the System Requirements for installing MRTG on
OS Windows?
