Do you have any periodic cronjobs running on your server that look for (and
delete) any and all *.log files? If so, they'd be deleted, and the next run of
MRTG would recreate them as empty.
If you do have such a job, severely... re-educate... the person who wrote it,
since doing a "find / -name *.log -exec rm {} \;" is just stupid coding. It
should be restricted to a specific tree that is known to be safe.

For the last 2-3 months at midnight Central Time (GMT+6) I started havind some
of my .log files started to be reset without my intention. Is there a reason
for that? I assumed first because my .log file size reaches a limit but some of
the .log files arent't even 100K big.
