This is caused by data normalisation (if the data does not comine in exactly on 
the 5-min polling boundary, it is averaged to meet this resulting in decimals 
if your value is small) and caused because MRTG was designed for network 
traffic originally.

To get around it, you have a couple of options.

1) Use Options[]:integer to make the graph display in integers.
2) Set your polling to occur exactly on the 5min boundary, possibly by manually 
updating the RRD with an explicitly pre-normalised time value.

It would be useful if Tobi in the future adds a new variable type (eg 
'exactgauge') the bypasses the normalisation code...

When MRTG polls ( 5 minute interval ) it is displaying the ‘current’ record as 
a number with a decimal.  The item being polled is a hard number, no decimal.  
I do not understand why it adding a decimal, or from where it is getting that 
number.

Has anyone run into this before?
