G,
This si really a piece of cake, we just need to reorganise the
approach to it. As I understand it
- tblMaster has customer records
- tblProduct has a mixture of customerID's and Products
The questions ...
- What is the structure (fields) of tblMaster?
- What is the structure (fields( of tblProducts?
- Is there more than one Product per customer in tblProducts?
- Are the other 16,500 records of 'old' customers?
- What do you want to *do* with the information (please don't tell us
how you want to do it, just what)
What you do *not* want to do ...
- Add the product code to your tblMaster
- Have Customer information in both table except CustomerID
- Have Product information in both tables except, only in tblProduct
So you can see why a little more info on your tables and what is in
them will be useful
