Hi, I do not know the answer even if I had that data. It is an interesting question. Unfortunately, one of the limitations in the Yahoo groups is that they do not allow attachments to messages. One way around this is to include everything in the message itself. That does not always work, as when you want to send a sample database in the reply. What really stinks is that they have an 'attach' button that does not work right in the reply form! I am ready to give up on Yahoo groups. Gene

In this database, I'm designing a report that will produce the printed game sheets he needs in order to play this game. What I need to get MS Access 2007 to do is read the number in a data field and then draw that many numbered boxes on the report. In other words, if the data field contains a 14, then he will get 14 numbered boxes; if the data field says 242, then he will get 242 numbered boxes. I have uploaded a Word document that has a couple of examples of the kind of numbered boxes that I'm talking about. Please don't worry about the shading you see, the numbered boxes on the report will not be shaded. Any assistance will greatly appreciated. Thanks, John A.
