Initially, Qt Creator wouldn't open the CMakeLists.txt file (it was grayed out). Later on, I loaded Qt Creator on the terminal and passed the CMakeLists.txt as an argument. It worked perfectly.
I can now use Qt Creator as a UI editor, which is all I wanted. It won't actually build anything, but I'm more than happy to use Xcode for everything else.
