It is difficult to answer; it seems more a Qt issue than MuseScore's. A detail you may check:
in the Qt Creator main menu: "Tools | Options" then "Build & Run" page and then "CMake" tab, be sure that "Prefer Ninja generator" is NOT checked and rebuild everything. Incidentally, with recent Qt Creator versions, setting path variables should not be needed: if you have installed everything together (Qt Creator, tools and library), Qt Creator/cmake should be able to find the right Qt library by itself. At least, it does this in my setup (which is different from yours, though: Linux Mint 14, with Qt Creator 2.7.2 and Qt lib 5.1.0).
