Hi. I'm doing research in computer vision and was looking for interesting practical GSoC projects. I have basic music education and experience so I thought about automatic recognition of scanned sheet music as a cool feature for MuseScore. Of course it's almost impossible to reach perfect accuracy, but such tool could significantly facilitate the process and require only a few manual adjustments. This feature is also closely related to proposed OMR idea that is mostly about the right interface. Do you think such feature would be valuable for MuseScore project?
