MuseScore 2 is ready for El Capitan. You can download the MuseScore 2.0.2 DMG, install and run MuseScore 2. So far, nobody reported a problem with that. That's the message on Facebook, towards users, not developers.
There is no mention anywhere that MuseScore can be compiled on El Capitan and that development is possible on this platform for now. That's being said, I don't know if your compilation problem is linked to El Capitan or not. You solved the MacOSX10.11.sdk issue? What's the next error you got? lasconic 2015-10-04 10:33 GMT+02:00 Jim Newton <jimka.i...@gmail.com>: > Hi Lasconic, I saw a recent post on facebook about Musescore2 being ready > for > El Capitan. > You think this is the core of my compilation problem, that the development > environment is not quite ready? > > > > -- > View this message in context: > http://dev-list.musescore.org/can-t-compile-musescore-perhaps-because-missing-MacOSX10-10-sdk-tp7579524p7579527.html > Sent from the MuseScore Developer mailing list archive at Nabble.com. > > > ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ > _______________________________________________ > Mscore-developer mailing list > Mscore-developer@lists.sourceforge.net > https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/mscore-developer >
