Hmm, yes, I read in SDL 1.2 only support 1 window per app, in version
2.0 support multiple window. That's why Blender use their own embedded
from for dialog.

And to switch between 3D and 2D is OpenGL. And I think with OpenGL for
drawing GUI, the image quality is same for all platform.
