I mean slim in implementation, because not like SDL, to drawing text should use add-ons (3rd party lib). How it simple as in http://sfml-dev.org/documentation/2.0/ AFAIK, C or C++ is fast because they are compild to binary as FPC. If java compile to binary with GCJ, I think the app sould run fast too.
