You can replace the templates in apps/ide/templates if you like. MSEide should 
*never* run with root privileges, I will not implement such an option.
BTW: for users which like to compile MSEgui units I recommend to install like 
described here:
http://mseide-msegui.sourceforge.net/
and to use a git cloned source tree.
