Hi Martin,

Just read something "semi" interesting on the Embarcadero forums.
Somewhere along the lines CodeGear/Embarcadero slipped a new clause in
the license that forbids you to develop products that compete with
Embarcadero's. So compiling and distributing a binary of MSEide,
compiled with Delphi will be in violation of that clause.

Absolutely ridiculous if you ask me. And yet another reason I LOVE open
source software. No rubbish like that!

The full thread can be read in Delphi's non-technical newsgroup entitled
"License for XE7 forbids people to develop some products." This clause
was apparently in place before XE7 already.
