I made no change with window captions recently so this is no surprise. The effect of missing window captions on FreeBSD was present before MSEgui 3.0 and after 2.9 IIRC but already fixed in lib/common/kernel/linux/mseguiintf.pas. Are you sure there is no old mseguiintf.ppu in unit search path? I'll try again to reproduce.
