The universal layout is nice for a multi-system users. But for Windows only users, I understand that seeing this "/C/Windows/" on a filenameedit value can be strange.
Setting tfilenameedit.controller.options := [fdo_sysfilename] and there will be the well Windows layout "C:\Windows\".
