OK, Fred, I tested with tfilenameditx. It is very nice. Congratulations. (I would be interested how you added a new component to MSEide, but this is another discussion. (I would like to intall the components of the Repaz demo. The demo works, but I cannot open the form in editor, because of "class TRepazChart not found". I will start another discussion about that.))
The component is very nice, but maybe not really needed in that case, since I select only directories... I have two or three questions/observations on the component.
