This "mseconsts_dynpo.pas" is used if no po files are found in /lang and used too when the po file is loaded to check every entry of the po file (compare the "msgid" with the correspondant enum, if not found, then take the value of mseconsts). I will, though, as soon as I can. This the more as I'm thinking just like you that it's warranted to provide an easy to use way for translating an application. (Although there are some caveats at that, as it's not just that the wording has to be adapted. If done thoroughly, every control element would have to be analyzed and possibly modified to adjust to the item being displayed on it. This might grow into a challenging problem - so it's probabely best to just leave this for the future right now...) > Maybe it could be merged for official mseide-msegui but for that, of > course, all the advices and votes are needed. I vote to include it in any case. The ".po"-system is an established method on Linux now, and as there's quite some "spill over" to Windows, it will be available there in most cases as well. BTW, if the appropriate files for your ideU are available, I will be glad to look over them and make or adapt a german version, as I found quite some, sometimes funny, wording caused by misunderstanding, ambigous translations or just entrenched but different customary use. But it will take some time, because of the rich terminology. I'll give notice if new versions will be available. ... > Or maybe give the choise: or use mseconst_xx.pas way or use po way. > ( But this is more tricky ) Well, you probabely _have_ to have a basic terminology for ypour application, disregarding the language.
