Well, not yet. I was a bit disappointed about the ability to alter the predefined items, there are "a few" idiosyncrasies in msegui that don't really help the attempt. Although I found a solution for the menuitem problem - more code, special cases - there are several "interesting" tasks left, and the big one to provide translations not for, elsewhere defined, "stock" strings, but for the real inscriptions used in the specific project at hand. Maybe this should trigger a new project, a method for the ide to insert the stock _string_ items into the form elements like buttons, labels and such. There are stock _glyph_ buttons, but there are no "stock caption" buttons, e.g. No function to insert a "stock text" either. Using predefined texts might make it a whole lot easier to provide all the translations whose languages one does not know... And, as stated before, there's no means to programmatically modify the items after or during translation either yet, or to compose one from several stock items or a project specific and a stock one, like you do at several places in your ideU. That's probabely a BIG drawback.
