How can these multiple references be recognized? If a name refers to
another entry and you can recognize this, it should be possible to use
the ability of fpc's lists to keep entries "unique", altough you might
have to provide some kind of "sorting" algorithm.
But keeping entries "unique" isn't difficult either, I implemented this
e.g. for the "fontlist" program (but don't remember whether I made it
available on my web site) and for the .mo file generator ("PO2MO").
