The event logs will almost always show what we need. The console makes a distributed query from the management server to the SSRS server to get a list of MP’s/Folders.
Same thing happens when you browse http://SSRSSERVER/Reports. When this happens, are you able to browse that address? If not – then the root cause is with the SSRS server.
