Hi folks,
We have thus far had lots of "I can't make it this month" and very few
yeses...
So - if you might be able to let me know, positive or negative ASAP,
that would help, as if we can't get a quorum, we might just go to a pub
or something instead... Maybe even dinner?
Actually - that's a good idea: When replying, can you please respond
with one of the below:
- I'm coming, and want to talk ZFS, SSD's and ZIL's
- I'm keen on drinkies
- I'm keen on dinner (and most likely drinkies as well. ;))
- I'm not coming. You stink.
We'll run with whatever looks most popular.

This months meeting is on a TUESDAY!

SSD's, ZFS and other stuff and have a number of interesting things to

(Oracle Linux)... Anyone who wants to volunteer would be most welcome. :)

Speakers start at 18:30 sharp, with Pizza arriving somewhere around
20:00ish.

stuff as more people volunteer):
- Nathan - talking about:
- Consumer hardware, and the perils / pleasures of working with it ;)
- ZFS, SSD's and ZIL's with some live demo's of just how different
things can be with but a few tweaks
I'm looking for Topics/Speakers for *next* month as well (Or maybe
Feb)...
Soft drink, coffee/tea and Pizza will be available. (YES - FOOD.)

To anyone who meets with or talks to folks interested in Solaris: Please
let everyone know about the meeting, the time and the date. We would
love to continue to continue to grow the group.
A note on access: The Lifts in the building and entrance to Level 5
automatically lock early in the evening, so access will be provided by
Oracle folks on-site. A sign will also be placed close to the ground
floor lifts with a contact number, should you arrive after the start of
the meeting.
If you are interested in Solaris, doing interesting things with, or on
Solaris, we want YOU!
