Win98 is NOT faster than NT, 2000, XP. I found that XP uses less memory and
runs faster!

Subject: Re: [Mspgcc-users] Problems on Win98

Hello,

I am planning to use the mspgcc compiler in future projects.
At this moment I am using the IAR compiler and it is running on a windows95
computer.
And yes it is the only windows95 in the company.
There was a lot of discussions on running mspgcc. I am running win98 on my
laptop, and I am not planning to 'upgrade' mine OS to a newer but bigger and
slower OS.
A bug in the mspgcc compiler running on win98 doesn't mean that there is a
bug
in win98 but a bug in de mspgcc. The only 'problem' with win98, in stead of
winNT, is the behavior of the OS if a bug occurs.
