I think this is a really good idea along with changing the directory name 
in CVS.  According to the CVS manual its not hard but it would be a real 
big pain.

For the time being updating the manual with the suggestion to use 3.2.3 and 
providing a direct link to that section (shopping list and install).  
would be a really good idea which would be pretty quick and easy.
