Take it off the jtag connector (olimex boards do this, but that's not
necessary AFAIK.). I had a board that it would slow down when the JTAG
is connected. Simply removed its connection to the JTAG header and
everything went fine.
;-), thanks. It does run fine when disconnected. But then I always have
to plug it in before saying "make download" ;-). And as you
say it works on the olimex headerboard without unplugging.
