Hi,

I've been using the mspgcc suite fine for the past year, but have just recently run into a big problem when attempting to make my projects. When I try to perform a make it responds back with:

-------- begin --------
msp430-gcc (GCC) 3.2.3
Copyright (C) 2002 Free Software Foundation, Inc.
This is free software; see the source for copying conditions. There is NO
warranty; not even for MERCHANTABILITY or FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

Compiling:
msp430-gcc -mmcu=msp430x1471 -g -O0 -Wall -Wcast-align -Wcast-qual -Wimplicit -W missing-declarations -Wmissing-prototypes -Wnested-externs -Wpointer-arith -Wred undant-decls -Wreturn-type -Wshadow -Wstrict-prototypes -Wswitch -Wunused -mendu p-at=main -DF_CPU=4000000 -Wl,-Map=Handheld.map,--cref -o Handheld.elf Handheld.
c flash.c spi.c uart.c audio.c -lm
make: *** [Handheld.elf] Error 1

However clearly doesn't inform me of why the error occured. I've tried just entering the gcc commands on their own, however they also appear to fail quietly. They don't produce any output files, but also don't issue any warnings about what the problem is. Has anyone had this problem before, or have any direction to go on this? I've tried reinstalling mspgcc and restarting however it hasn't changed the situation. Not sure how it came about, but paths have been changed reasonably recently, though I would have thought the mspgcc install would fix them back up if they were wrong.

Please help me.. I need to get this code compiled and tested out in quick time, but don't have access to another computer to use for it..
