Hi,

Try with binutils 2.17 : It's OK

In the makefile located on 'CVS\packaging' you can see the current version 
used (line 34)

BINUTILS_VERSION        := 2.17
GCC_VERSION             := 3.2.3
GDB_VERSION             := 5.1.1

creating the new workstation for working with mspgcc, I'm trying to patch 
binutils with patch located in packaging/patches, but it failed.
I tryed to use binutils 2.14, 2.16, 2.18 and got an errors when patching, 
the different ones in different versions.

$ patch -p 1 -i 
../../packaging/patches/binutils-14x1-20x1-20x2-20x3-22x4-42x-4
