I should be more specific: I have an Olimex MSPFET
(parallel->JTAG) adapter. I hadn't tried their software.
I just tried the Olimex SW, and it doesn't support the '2330.
I've got piles of JTAG adapters. Well, I think I have 6. I
have a couple parllel->JTAG, a couple USB->JTAG and a couple
USB->spy-bi-wire.
The problem is I can't find any programming software that
supports the 'F23x0 parts. They're completely unsupported by
msp430-gdbproxy (under both Windows and Linux). msp430-jtag
_thinks_ it can program them using the parallel interfaces and
the mspgcc backend, but it rarely actually works.
Progamming the "LED flash" project in IAR EW seems to work fine
via any interface, but I don't _want_ to program the LED
flashing project and I can't figure out how to use IAR EW to
simply program a part.
I guess I'll install CCE and see if it can program a hex file
into an F2330.
I used to be a big fan of the MSP430 product line, but I've put
without about as much crappy JTAG support bullshit as a person
can stand.
