I just tried the Olimex SW, and it doesn't support the '2330.
The Olimex programming SW is junk. The widgets don't even
render in the right places in the applicatoin widnow: several
of them overlap enough that some are completely obscured. It
allows me to pick the wrong part number and then pretends it
can read flash when it can't. Very poorly done.
Sorry to hear that. The Olimex hardware has been successful for me (3
different adapters) but I just recently, and briefly, tried the
software. The widgets line up here (Windows XP SP2) but I know from
painful experience that GUI displays are hard to create in a
host-independent way. I do see now that your 'F23xx is not listed in
the Olimex device list, so I have emailed them to try to understand
their claim for "all devices." None of which helps you at all,
unfortunately.
