Yes, you should. This patch is the same for 2.17 and for 2.18.

Hi Sergey and Steven!
I just d/l'ed 2.18 and patched it accordingly, but applying the 2.17
patch causes one hunk of the two files to fail. Upon inspecting the
source code, the code being patched into looks right though. Is this a
problem? Just started compiling the binutils now...
Is it still necessary to roll back the gcc CVS to about a week or can I
now use the HEAD without problems?
