Hi,

good idea. Why didn't I came up with this ?
---
[ 4868.171000] ftdi_sio 4-2:1.0: device disconnected
[ 4872.803081] usb 4-2: new full speed USB device number 3 using
ohci_hcd
[ 4873.026093] usb 4-2: New USB device found, idVendor=2047,
idProduct=0010
[ 4873.026102] usb 4-2: New USB device strings: Mfr=1, Product=2,
SerialNumber=3
[ 4873.026109] usb 4-2: Product: Texas Instruments MSP430-JTAG
[ 4873.026114] usb 4-2: Manufacturer: Texas Instruments
[ 4873.026119] usb 4-2: SerialNumber: A8FF42C59D892D3F
[ 4873.161621] cdc_acm 4-2:1.0: This device cannot do calls on its own.
It is not a modem.
[ 4873.161746] cdc_acm 4-2:1.0: ttyACM0: USB ACM device
[ 4873.166369] usbcore: registered new interface driver cdc_acm
[ 4873.166377] cdc_acm: USB Abstract Control Model driver for USB modems
and ISDN adapters
---

so this one is a modem.

Problem now is, I tried CCSV5 yesterday and it did a firmware upgrade,
it has a different ID now.

Cheers,
Stephan
