Never thought to look at that log :( Looks like it might be a registry issue:

Grrr I have a few servers that are on Server 2003 R3 32 bit. The SCCM 2012 SP1 client won't install because of BITS 2.5. I have downloaded the installer multiple times and I cannot install it. I get an access denied error during the install, and I am installing it as the local admin, so it is frustrating as most websites say the same thing. I read a website that suggests using the /skippreq on the client to install the SCCM client then push BITS 2.5 using SCCM. Not sure where I add that switch to. Just wondering if anyone has done this with success, or maybe another way. I think there is something wrong with the system, but I have only been working on 1 server so far, so I hope what I am experiencing is only on this machine, cause it is a pain.
