This morning I'm getting reports that clients are unable to install updates.
They're all showing the following errors in their logs:

 

Contenttransfer.log: Error sending HEAD request. HTTP code 500, status
'Internal Server Error'

Datatransfer.log: Error retrieving manifest (0x80070003), Will attempt retry
3 in 1920 seconds.

 

This is our main DP (which is the site server). I've reviewed the cas.log on
the clients and can confirm they're able to locate the correct DP. When I
try to access one of the locations the clients are trying to access, in IE
I'm receiving a 500 Internal Error. 

 

I've tried refreshing the DP but the problem persists. Does anyone have any
ideas what I can do? I'm thinking I could try removing the package from the
DP and redistributing it?
