You can check IIS logs as well on that DP for more details on failure when that
URL is hit. If there isn't any change happened on DP and this is the only
package that has problem then nail it down by removing/recreating etc. If
problem at DP level and for all packages, then also don't be panic but just try
a reboot to see if it helps, before further troubleshooting can be tried

Subject: [mssms] Clients have stopped being able to install some updates -
Error retrieving manifest (0x80070003)

This morning I'm getting reports that clients are unable to install updates.
They're all showing the following errors in their logs:

Contenttransfer.log: Error sending HEAD request. HTTP code 500, status
'Internal Server Error'
Datatransfer.log: Error retrieving manifest (0x80070003), Will attempt retry 3
in 1920 seconds.

This is our main DP (which is the site server). I've reviewed the cas.log on
the clients and can confirm they're able to locate the correct DP. When I try
to access one of the locations the clients are trying to access, in IE I'm
receiving a 500 Internal Error.

I've tried refreshing the DP but the problem persists. Does anyone have any
ideas what I can do? I'm thinking I could try removing the package from the DP
and redistributing it?

Daniel.
