I am looking at automating package replication (CM 2012 SP1) issues would
like to know if someone has done any kind of work on this.
What I am looking for:-

Is there a way to catch package replication
failure at the time it occurs?
2.
What all things should we consider before
triggering an package refresh
3.
What all could be reason for package replication
failure
4.
Programmatically fix the issue
Any pointers or help
