Where do you guys put the SSM Task in the TS? I put mine right after " Applying
drivers" near the top of the TS. Then I add applications after that.

What I have noticed is for some reason the system will reboot and go straight
into windows without finishing my TS. Have you guys seen this before?

James

Subject: [mssms] HP SSM.exe and deploying HP Drivers

Guys, I've tried using SSM to deploy HP Drivers as Richard Zuraff pointed me to
PPT slide. However, to no avail am I able to make this work successfully for
several drivers, even though the drivers SSM approved by HP.

I have successfully updated my BIOS's thanks to Richards PPT. I must say, the
SSM is perfect for updating HP BIOS's.

About my driver issues. I'm using the following cmd line: SSM.exe .
/log:c:\temp /INSTALL /ACCEPT /NOAVAUPDATE /NODIALOG /DEBUG /NOREBOOT

What I have noticed is, drivers/software such as HP Protect Tools and Validity
Fingerprint reader don't install. But I can see where a majority of drivers do
install. However, when it finishes installing the drivers/software the system
reboots (not from a restart I added). On some hardware the system will boot
back into windows and bypass the rest of my task sequence.

Thoughts?
James (pulling hair out)
