We had to do this for several DPs and I ended up writing a series of scripts to
handle this...the scripts require SP1/CU1 and the PowerShell cmdlets that come
with it

Script 1 (run from the DP) will create the prestage content files on the DP
Script 2 will uninstall the DP and then recreate the DP under the new secondary
Script 3 (run from the DP) will extract the prestaged content files created
from script 1

Worked pretty well for us...let me know if you want them and I can clean up and
send to you.

Subject: [mssms] Distribution point moves

Question. We have a primary and three secondary servers. Yesterday we had a
primary and two secondary servers. SCCM 2012 Not sp1 yet. I have 20 DP's that
I want to move from one of the secondary server to another. Can I do that
without an uninstall and reinstall of the DP? If so can you point me to how I
can do it? I can't change the site code which is the secondary. The DP is
actually on another server that is not a secondary.
