Hmmm, maybe it's a lazy property? $package.psbase which I assume you are using
PowerShell? :)

Odd. I made a test Package and changed the copy content box, Share Name and
Share Type didn't change. I've been doing WMI queries, and ShareType is 1 if
that box is checked and if it isn't checked. It only changes when "Use a custom
name" is checked and filled out. Then it is a 2.

Now I just want to know because I'm stumped.

Were you able to find this? I spent about 30 minutes looking yesterday and was
only able to figure out how to find information on "Use a custom name for the
package share" I checked again today and couldn't find anything.

I've checked through all the content and package classes I know and didn't see
anything related to this.

Does anyone know if there is a package XML value somewhere like the application
XML one?

Is there a way to tell what packages we have this checked on?
