You can try compiling the mof file if there Are any syntax errors. I think you can get default one from configmgr source folder.. Haven't checked if it is avilable in source or not. Give a try. I use this script anytime if wmi errors http://eskonr.com/2009/03/how-to-troubleshoot-the-systems-which-has-wmi-issues-rebuild-wmi-repository/
It is. Not always good to delete the repository and create new one since you will lost all inventory from wmi. Also...in “C:\Program Files\Microsoft Configuration Manager\data\hinvarchive” I have other 4 bck files. Is there a way to rebuild my configuration.mof ? I`m in a critical situation right now, because I don`t have Hardware Inventory Cycle on any of my clients :-( Thanks. Oktober 2013 14:14 An: [email protected] Betreff: [mssms] Hardware Inventory is missing Hi, I have some issues with Hardware Inventory cycle, is missing from all the computers right now: All the components are installed/enabled. On the client, I check PolicyAgent.log, and I have these errors: Failed to trigger policy evaluation for CCM_Policy_Policy4.PolicyID="{a4521571-a763-4434-aa69-dcfe84b984f9}",PolicySource="SMS:S01",PolicyVersion="14.00" Failed evaluation of policy CCM_Policy_Policy4.PolicyID="{a4521571-a763-4434-aa69-dcfe84b984f9}",PolicySource="SMS:S01",PolicyVersion="14.00" http://blog.coretech.dk/rja/case-of-the-missing-hardware-inventory/ http://configurationmanagerblog.blogspot.ro/2011/07/hardware-inventory-action-missing.html >From PolicyEvaluator.log I have these: Already sent a policy rule application failure status message within the last 6 hours, not sending. State has been set to 'Error' and policy will be rolled back. So what I did was to disable and then re-enable “Hardware Inventory” and “Software Inventory” from Default Settings. I reinstall the client, no luck since. Anyone have any ideas please ? Thanks. Regards.
