It appears that in ConfigMgr 2012 SP1, the SMS Agent Host and Configuration Manager Remote Control services are configured with a startup type of "Automatic (Delayed Start)." This is causing some frustration in my current environment because there will be a delay of several minutes before a remote control session can be initiated to a PC after it is rebooted.
Can the startup type for the services referenced above be changed without much impact? I did see the following post that seems to indicate it is OK: http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/c339a6cc-fb0d-4b15-8fed-06caee20b003/delayed-startup-on-sms-agent-host-service?forum=configmanagerdeployment As a follow up to the initial question, has anyone changed the service startup type? I can think of multiple ways to accomplish it across the environment (script, Compliance Settings?, etc.) Thanks, Jeff
