Get cm07 to download the patch into a package then see if the downloaded patch applies manually. If it is applicable it should go on. As for supercedence in cm07 you cannot deploy the superceded patch as you pointed out via software updates, but it could be deployed as a package if needs be. Unfortunately I already removed KB2855844 from deployment and superseded patches can’t be re-deployed. Any hints please?
