On a couple of machines I've noticed that the Configuration Manager Remote
Control service is not started and disabled. If I manually enable it and set it
to automatic, it runs, and is still running after a reboot, I can even use it
fine as an administrative user. However if I try to remote control the machine
using a non-administrative user defined in our client settings it doesn't work.
First place to look was the ConfigMgr Remote Control Users group and it doesn't
exist!
This missing group combined with the service being disabled seems like the
ConfigMgr client hasn't been installed properly. Oddly though this is the case
for about 6 other machines. Any ideas what is causing this and how to resolve
it? I'm thinking of just reinstalling the client.
