You mean, creating a separate package for example: 
\\SCCMServer\Packages$\Applications\DesktopTools\Files2Copy

In Files2Copy folder ...copy the .rdp shortcut

And then create a program for example: Copy files to all Desktop

Using the command line: filecopy.bat C:\Users\Public\Desktop

Something like that maybe..


Is also possible to publish IE shortcuts with this method too ?

have you tried...

creating the actual shortcut, then copy that file to a package and deploy it to 
the desired user profiles desktop
