A thought MAYBE... as a user with rights to do anything/everything, if you go to yourserver/reports, then Details View... look for the DataSource definitions. In my lab that happens to be under ConfigMgr_XYZ folder, at the bottom in detail view.
If you have multiple; like one for CM12 and one for CM07... (well, first take screen shots or otherwise save the cm07 datasource details) then make the one that points to your CM07 datasource... look exactly like your CM12 datasource.-- the datasource you KNOW works. Specifically the connection string / credentials. I only had the issue, and the solution, with a newly installed CM12, nothing migrated. From:[email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Murray, Mike Sent: Mittwoch, 13. November 2013 22:20 To: [email protected] Subject: RE: [mssms] Intermittent SSRS authentication issues I think I’ve narrowed this down a bit. All the reports that were built in, or were transferred over from CM07 have this issue. A report I recently created from scratch using the “Use current Windows user” under credentials in the data source run fine. Sheesh, the last thing I want to do is go through all these reports and set up a new data source. Any ideas? You have only one SSRS? No lab, what about a single primary to test? They are rather easy to install. From:[email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Murray, Mike Sent: Mittwoch, 13. CM12 2008 They are on a separate box from the CM server, but both roles are on that server. All reports Hard to say. It will work, then not. Then I check back in an hour or two and it works again. I’m going to try Roland’s suggestion below and see if that helps. What I do is to re-enter the account (using “new account”) in the role, but provide the same account and passwords. Then you have to wait. In the ssrs.log, it says “setting security at xx:xx:xx”. Once it did that it actually worked.
