See they updated the KB article on this one to say that the update for Windows 8 SCCM Clients also applies to Windows 8.1 SCCM Clients:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2861663 Note This update affects only those platforms that are included in the supported platforms list. The client part of KB 2750782 (SCCM2007AC-SP2-KB2698619-x86-ENU.msp) was originally released to provide support for Windows 8. However, it also applies to Windows 8.1 clients. It doesn’t make that clear in the KB or in the article (kind of suggests it without spelling it out) that this adds the client hotfix to SCCM. Makes it sound like it’s just a hotfix to add supported platform tick boxes to those particular areas and not a client hotfix. I get it now. It’s actually the latter ☺ From: [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]> [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Daniel Ratliff Sent: 28 October 2013 16:56 To: [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]> Subject: [mssms] RE: HOTFIX: An update is available that adds support for Windows 8.1 and Windows Server 2012 R2 to System Center Configuration Manager 2007 Service Pack 2 Yes, this is that update.
