Domain? Joining a domain has nothing to do with downloading updates. You can either connect your lab WSUS instance to the Internet or your stand-alone WSUS instance to the Internet - without knowing anything about your network infrastructure there's no way for anyone to be able to tell you how to do that. You can also manually download the needed updates and place them in a folder accessible by the WSUS instance in your lab - that more or less defeats the purpose of an ADR though.

I created a standalone WSUS server exported the updates, then imported them. I have been able to successfully synchronize updates from WSUS into ConfigMgr. However, when I go to create ADRs I need to specify a download connection. We only have two options and neither option will work in my scenario. Download Software Updates from the internet Download Software Updates from a location on my network. What options to I have to work around this? Do I need to join my standalone WSUS server to my test domain and use that? Seems to be a pain for joining/disjoining the WSUS server from the test domain. I'm curious what others do in their test environments to work around this. Thanks, Brian
