I have never been asked about any diploma/degree when applying for a job nor been turned down from a position based solely on my (lack of a) degree. I have an Associate's degree in Computer Information Systems that I got way back in 1995 using my GI Bill credits!

Just curious why do most SCCM jobs require some form of degree? Surely there are quite a few SCCM/CM admins (senior/junior) ones out there without a degree, doesn't experience in the role count more than a degree?
