How are you using PXE boot on a client OS with SCCM 2012?
As for using BDP in SCCM 2007, we had over 25 in our environment and they worked without issues for years. We did have early problems with them, when they were on XP. We moved them all to Windows 7 very early on and we had really no issues. Are you using one or two hard drives on these machines and will they be imaged already? All you really need to do is either put the uncompressed SCCM files on the hard drive or use an external hard drive that has the files on it, than copy it to that site. Any content on the DPs needs to be pre-staged. What is the best option to accomplish this? Or what have you done in a similar scenario? I know there are probably multiple options such as deploying a base Windows image to the DPs and then distributing content while they are at the main site.
