The distant hotels are about 175 a night. For 500 a night you can get a room with 2 queen beds at the westin, 4 seasons, or Hilton right next to the convention center…
If you can find a roommate, that’s only 250 a night. And, you won’t have to spend hundreds of dollars and many hours to take a cab. I’m certainly going to give clear and resounding feedback about the location for TechEd being sucky… Can’t say I’ve ever had trouble at MMS is Las Vegas finding a place to stay that wasn’t a 30 minute commute. They advertise 5 day minimums, but if you aren’t booking a month they will only let you book at the last second.
